Home to Kamloops’ first craft cidery, Woodward Cider Co tells the story of three adventurous brothers growing up on the family farm, moving on to careers in engineering and returning to the farm to pursue a new adventure and passion in creating craft cider. “ Built for Adventure, Issued for Consumption”, Woodward Cider is handcrafted in in small batches made only with 100% BC apples.

About the Cider

Creating something from the ground is what Woodward Cider is all about. Locally grown and hand-crafted but finished with the precision of an engineer. Oh right, did we tell you the Woodward boys are all engineers… Using only hand-picked apples from the family orchard and those growers they’ve created a partnership with, Woodward ciders are all natural, gluten free and proudly made in Kamloops BC. The line up includes a bevie of tasty ciders all of which reflect the adventurous, yet laid back nature of the creators and this place.

Their cider portfolio includes: Modern Dry, Not So Dry, Raspberry Infused, Peach Infused, and Wolfberry. Along with the staples there is an ever changing and always intriguing line of new innovations within the Innovator Series.

The Tasting Room

Situated on the family property alongside orchards, vineyards and sister company Privato Winery, Woodward Cider is located in the North Thompson Valley just 20 minutes from Kamloops’ city centre. The tasting room has a cozy, rustic and fun vibe to iit. Here you can get a taste of each cider or grab a flight to enjoy on the patio or picnic grounds. Snacks and merchandise are also available. Kick back, relax and play a game of cornhole while you sip our tasty ciders!

Tastings are also offered through Privato’s tasting bar where you can taste all cider or a cider and wine combination. Tasting fees are waived with qualifying purchases.
